YOLANDA (LONNIE) SCHUH

Yolanda (Lonnie) Schuh, 96, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC passed away on a Sunday, March 16, 2025.

Yolanda was born in Poughkeepsie, New York, December 26, 1928,  the daughter of the late Pasquale and Annunciata (Orso) Stortini.  In addition to her parents, Yolanda was preceded in death by four  brothers: Marcellino, Ralph, Louis & Pasquale Stortini and son in law, John Dickerson, Sr. 

Yolanda married the late Joseph Schuh, April 30, 1950.  They were married 53 years. Lonnie and Joe owned The New Paltz Bakery & Pastry Shoppe and Joe’s Snack Bar until their retirement.

Survivors include her daughter, Joanne, son-in-law, Richard (Ocean Isle Beach) and grandson , John Dickerson, Jr. of Los Angeles, California.  Additionally, Yolanda is survived  by three sisters-in-law: Marion Stortini (Delray Beach, Florida), Marcia Stortini and Josephine Stortini  (Poughkeepsie NY) and several nieces and a nephew. 

A celebration of life and burial is planned in Kingston NY at a later date.
