Wilton Lee Sellers

Wilton Lee Sellers, age 64, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC passed away on Sunday the seventh of March 2021.

Born in Columbus County, NC on the thirty first of January 1957, he was a son of the late John W. Sellers and Carrie Ward Sellers Beasley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John (Buddy) Sellers, and a nephew, Wesley Sellers.

He graduated from the Hallsboro High School in 1975 and later served in the US Air Force from 1982 until 1988. Wilton was a devout born again Christian and spent his life witnessing and serving the Lord that he loved with all his heart. He was also a longtime member of Ocean View Baptist Church where he was previously a deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, and several other church positions.

Surviving are his loving wife of 41 years, Debbie Mincey Sellers of the home, a daughter, April Sellers Canady and husband John of Shallotte; a God given granddaughter, Mercy Thompson Helms; a sister, Louise Mears of Wallace, NC; a sister, Gail Bass and husband Larry of Emporia, VA; a brother, Bobby Ray Sellers of Whiteville, NC; a special family friend, Sheila Blackwell and many brothers and sisters in Christ at Ocean View Baptist Church.

A Celebration of life will held Saturday, April 10, 2021, at 11AM at Ocean View Baptist Church, Ocean Isle Beach, NC.
