William Harvey Stephens

William “Bill” Harvey, Stephens, 81, of Oak Island, NC, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024 in the Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center following a time of declining health.

Bill was born in Dillon, SC, on April 9, 1943, and was a son of the late Harvey and Ruth Coates Stephens. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a daughter, Jill Stephens, a son, Mark Stephens and a brother-in-law, Robert Wilhelm.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, June Tolley Stephens; two sons, Michael “Thad” Stephens, Terry Tolley; a brother, Ronnie Stephens and wife Lynn; and a sister, Glinda Wilhelm.

In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held.
