Mr. William R. Bradham, age 80, of Calabash, NC passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024 in the Lower Cape Fear Life Care, "Brunswick House" after a lengthy illness.
William (Bill) was born in Columbia, SC on September 22, 1943, to the late, Randolph and Beverly Bates Bradham.
Bill enjoyed a life filled with family, avid reading, global travel adventure, beach time, golf, and tennis.
After earning double majors in English and History at Elon College, he enjoyed a 35-year career in Human Resources/Management Development with Burlington Industries.
Following retirement, Bill worked 3 exciting years as an art auctioneer on a cruise ship and land auctions.
He dedicated volunteer work to Brunswick County Literacy Council, Meals on Wheels, and as an Indian Princess Guide for his daughter’s group.
Bill was a member and Elder of Calabash Covenant Church.
Surviving are his loving wife of 37 years, Barbara Bissette Bradham; Daughters, Ashley Howington (David) and Amanda Wood (Keith); Stepdaughters, Michelle Murray (Jay) and Heather Woods (Tim); Sister, Carol Morrill (Doug); Grandchildren, Grace and Alex; Step-grandchildren, David, Chase, Heather, Sid, Miranda.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, July 13, 2024, in the Calabash Covenant Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dane Deatherage officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
