Wanda Juliet Clemmons Robinson

March 27, 1951 – November 9, 2024

Wanda Juliet (Julie) Clemmons Robinson died peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center with her loving family at her bedside.

Juliet was a daughter of Edwin Stewart and Jessie Theodocia Lancaster Clemmons. She was born March 27, 1951 in Southport, NC.

She is predeceased by her parents, two siblings, Jesse Stewart Clemmons and Edwina Miras, and a nephew Jonathan Gore Clemmons.

Julie is survived by her son, John Edwin Robinson (Melissa “Missy” Herlocker) and daughter, Jessica Rae Robinson Upton; a step-grandson, Trey Allen Dickson, two sisters Gwen Causey and Elaine Wright. and five nephews: Jeff Clemmons (Jan), Steve Causey (Karen), Mark Causey, Brad (Yoyo) Sellers and Ryan Miras.

Julie was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.

Graduating from Shallotte High School in 1969,  she received her Beautician’s License from  Troutman’s Beauty School in Wilmington, NC. After several years of working as a beautician, Julie entered the field of Sales and worked at Shallotte Electric Supply, Lowe’s and retired after 26 years with Don Clemmons Builders, Inc. After retiring she grew a lucrative E-Bay business specializing in antiques.

Her dog, Pepper, was a faithful companion for many years. Pepper offered many days of security, comfort, and happiness to Julie. One of their favorite things to do was to ride to McDonald’s for a Frappe.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 2:00 P. M. at Prospect Baptist Church, 1351 Makatoka Road, NW, Supply, NC.

Memorials may be made to Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery and mailed to Gwen Causey, 946 Little Macedonia Road, NW, Supply, NC 28462.
