Victoria Ann Toukatly

Victoria A. Toukatly, 77, formerly of Utica, passed away peacefully on June 29,2026, in North
Carolina.
Victoria, affectionately known as Vicky, was born on March 15, 1949, in Utica, NY, the first born 
daughter of Joseph and Georgette Morad Toukatly. She graduated from Utica Catholic Academy in 1967 
and went on to attend St Luke’s School of Radiologic Technology graduating in 1969.

Vicky worked as a radiologic technologist at St Luke’s Hospital and later with SJI in the Syracuse 
area. Upon her retirement, she relocated to Tennessee, where she enjoyed being close to family and 
made many cherished friends.

Vicky had a lifelong love for animals, especially her beloved Maltese, Tookee, who was her 
companion for many years.

Vicky was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Paul Onisk.

She is survived by her brothers, John (Carol) Toukatly of Vonore, Tennessee, Jim (Mary) Toukatly of 
Melbourne, Florida, and sisters Janet (Tom) Ladd Chattanooga, Tennessee, Maryann (Paul) Witte of 
Wilmington, North Carolina, Joanne (Tom) Onisk of Naples, Florida and Denise (David) Decker of 
Calabash, North Carolina. 14 nieces and nephews, and 7
great-nieces and great-nephews, and 3 bonus great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family extends their gratitude to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, for their compassionate care and 
support provided to Vicky during her final days.

On Saturday, August 29, 2026, a blessing for Vicky will be held at Calvary Cemetery, 2407 Oneida 
St, Utica, NY 13501 at 11:30 am. Later in the day intentions for Vicky will be during
mass at Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish, 2222 Genesee St., Utica, NY 13502 at 4pm.
