Theresa Mary (Cavanaugh) Boone

Theresa Mary Boone, 62, of Carolina Shores, NC passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in the Angel House Hospice Center, Whiteville, NC following a time of declining health.

Theresa was born in Washington, DC on October 20, 1963, and was a daughter of the late Frederick and Carol Hilton Cavanaugh of Senora, California.

Theresa was a medical records transcriptionist while she was working outside of her home. I’d also like to add that she loved her 2 cats, Edgar and Emily. She was a very big fan of hunting, fishing, and anything dealing with outdoors. She spent most of her time helping others as much as she could. As well as enjoyed her time playing piano and listening to all other forms of music.

Surviving in addition to her mother, is a son, Kyle M. Arneson of Carolina Shores, NC.

A celebration of life service will be conducted from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in the Shepherd Assembly Church, 6720 Old Shallotte Road, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469.
