Tami Shelton

Tami Elliott Shelton, 65, of Southport, NC (Boiling Spring Lakes), passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, in the Lower Cape Fear Life Care, Bolivia, NC.

Born in Omaha, NE on July 27, 1960, Tami was a daughter of the late Joseph Ferdinand and Roberta Winter Elliott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dustin Bradley Shelton and two brothers, Joey Elliott and Bernie Elliott.

Tami was a longtime caregiver and was a certified EMT.

Surviving are her loving husband of 45 years, Lewis Alan Shelton; a son, Shane Alan Shelton, Sr.; a brother, David Elliott and wife Linda; a sister, Wendy Daniels and husband Doug; three grandchildren which she adored, Shane A. Shelton, Jr., Shawn Shelton, Sabrina Shelton; a niece, Deanna Murray and a nephew, Chris Daniels.

In keeping with her wishes, a private gathering of family and friends will be private.
