Stuart Bruce Hagen

Stuart Bruce Hagen, 83, of Leland, NC passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at his home with his loving family at his side.

Stuart was born in Berwin, Illinois on September 30, 1941, and was a son of the late Stuart and Eleanor Lund Hagen.

He was a member of the Reach Community Church, Leland, NC. Stuart was retired from the General Service Administration Office of Property Disposal as a Realtor Officer from San Francisco, California. He retired in 2006.    

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Christine Louise Pluta Hagen; a son, Eric S. Hagen; two daughters, Heather Hagen, Melissa Benson and husband Peter Benson. Two brothers, Steve Hagen, Richard Hagen; a sister, Carla Grantose; and three beloved grandchildren, Aidan Benson, Taylor Benson and Jordyn Hagen.

A Celebration of Life service is being planned and will be held in the Reach Community Church, 121 Town Hall Drive, Leland, NC 28451 at a date and time to be announced.
