Sallie Ann (Suggs) Carmichael

Sallie Ann Suggs Carmichael, age 74, of Supply, NC passed away on Saturday the fifteenth of May 2021 in the Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center.

Sallie was born in Brunswick County on the tenth of January 1947 to the late George Benjamin and Theatus Ellen Lee Suggs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Renee McKeithan, her first husband, Homer S. McKeithan, a brother, Billy Albert Suggs, a sister, Helen S. Hewett and grandson, James Gray.

Survivors include her husband of thirty three years, John “Wes” Carmichael; children, Danny McKeithan and wife Denise of Supply, Pamela McKeithan of Supply, Matthew McKeithan and wife Amber of Supply, Wayne McKeithan and wife Tilly of Shallotte, James McKeithan and wife Linda of Archdale, NC and Anthony McKeithan and wife Misty of Shallotte; three brothers, George Leroy Suggs of Tabor City, NC, Sammy K. Suggs of Supply, Earl Suggs of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Linda Anderson of Hickmans Crossroads, Gloria Suggs of Ocean Isle Beach; nineteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted at three o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday the nineteenth of May 2021 in the Shepherd Assembly Church, 6720 Old Shallotte Road, NW, Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Burial will follow in the McKeithan Cemetery, Ash.

The family will receive friends from one until three o’clock Wednesday at the church.
