Roy Tuck, Jr. Obituary

Roy E. Tuck Jr (77) passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at McLeod Health Seacoast Hospital.  Born on February 22, 1944 in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late Roy E. and Nellie Owens Tuck.

Roy was a graduate of Bass High School and Oglethorpe University.  After a couple of brief job transfers out of state, he returned to the Atlanta area.  Eventually, he followed his passion and transitioned to a career as a General Contractor and Home Remodeler.

Roy was a lifelong "lover of life".  He was an avid reader, cook, animal lover and fan of Atlanta sports teams.  Among his many other interests, he joined the Atlanta Shag Dance Club and attended several events in North and South Carolina; ultimately retiring to the Myrtle Beach, SC area.

Roy is survived by his sisters, Ray Faires of Calabash, NC, Kathy Smith (Lester) of Stone Mountain, GA; son, Brian Tuck (Adrea) of Plainfield, IL; daughter, Tiffany Tuck of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Amber, Jacob and Adam Tuck; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

His children will host a Celebration of Life Memorial on Saturday, January 15th in the Myrtle Beach area.  Specific time and location will be announced at a later date.
