Roger Norman Hallock

Roger Norman Hallock, age 86, of Carolina Shores, NC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on July 21, 1938, in Yonkers, NY, Roger was the son of the late Harry William Hallock and Ernestiene Bernhardt Berger Hallock. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Priscilla Richards and Elaine Dapp, and his brother, Harry Hallock Jr.

Roger proudly served his country as a Navy veteran, traveling the world during his time in service. After his military career, he worked for IBM, where he was dedicated and hardworking until his retirement.

Roger’s greatest joy came from spending time with his family and grandchildren, whether it was supporting them at their baseball games or offering advice and guidance. In his spare time, he enjoyed being part of his local bowling league and found peace in maintaining his home, especially through yard work and tending to his property.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Renee Hallock; her mother, Linda Hallock; and his cherished grandchildren, Tyler Hallock and Christopher Morano.

Roger will be laid to rest alongside his parents and siblings at United Presbyterian Church in New York. No formal services will be held at this time.
