Robert "Bob" Aime Metivier

Robert "Bob" Aime Metivier, 80, of Leland, NC, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at his home with family at his bedside. 

Bob was born in Putman, CT, on November 12, 1943, and was a son of the late Aime and Helen (Bissette) Metivier. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Susan A. Metivier who passed on October 16, 2017, a brother, Kenneth Metivier.

Bob was the proud owner and operator of "The Razor's Edge" barber shop in Danielson, CT until his retirement.  

Surviving are his beloved daughter, Donna Lynn Troublefield and husband Jimmy Marcus Troublefield of Leland; and a son Kevin Robert Metivier of New London, CT; a grandson, Tyler Metivier; and a granddaughter, MaKenzie Metivier. 

A graveside service is being planned in Connecticut and will be announced here when complete.
