Robert Anthony Howell

Robert Anthony Howell, 78, of Southport, NC (Boiling Spring Lakes), passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026, in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, “Brunswick House” following a lengthy illness.

Born in Montclair, NJ, on May 12, 1948, Robert was a son of the late Edward Joseph and Josephine Virginia Caponigro Howell. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Doreen Howell.

Surviving are his beloved children, grandchildren as well as a sister and several nieces & nephews.

Robert was a successful real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Seacoast Advantage, Wilmington, NC. 

In accordance with his instructions, no services will be held.
