Robert Hobson Long

Robert Hobson Long, age 66, ascended from this earth early Tuesday morning, October 12, 2021. He was a native of Brunswick County, NC and a longtime resident of Brunswick, Georgia. Robert was a retired commercial shrimper.

Robert was a son of Janette Smith Long and the late Charles Moore Long. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Long, Grady Long and Allen Long, a niece, Ashley Long and his grandparents, Carden and Dazie Long and Grady and Letha Smith.

Robert is survived by a son, Shannon Long and wife Tracy, grandchildren, Elizabeth, Hunter, Gavin & Bristol Long; mother, Janette Long; brothers, C. M. Long, Joey Long, Collie Long; sister-in-law, Peggy Long; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
