Ricky Lenford Carter

Ricky Lenford Carter, 68, of Calabash, NC passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Angel House, Whiteville following a time of declining health. Born in Conway, SC, on September 19, 1956, Ricky was a son of the late Lenford Iverson and Doris Eleanor Carter. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Ronald D. Carter. 

Ricky was a retired carpenter and in his early years, he worked at VC Summer Nuclear Station, Shearon Harris and ADM. He was an avid football fan but loved all sports. 

Survivors include a sister, Janet Holbrook and husband Hal of Little River, a brother, Jeff Carter & wife Tonya of Calabash; a very special aunt, Shirley Carter of Calabash, and several nieces and nephews.
