Richard Borelli Pearson

Richard “Ricky” Borelli Pearson, age 43 of Shallotte passed away on Thursday the sixteenth of July 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Ricky was born in Wilmington, NC on the eleventh of April 1977 to the late Richard Borelli and Jewel Nolen Pearson of Shallotte. In addition to his father, Ricky was preceded in death by grandparents, Rufus ‘Lucky’ Nolen, Gladys Nolen, Patrice ‘Pat’ Borelli,  Betty Borelli; an uncle, Harry Borelli and a cousin, Michelle L. Nolen.

Ricky had a deep love for the Bible and for animals.  He enjoyed the outdoors.  He was a passionate and loving person and will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

Surviving family members are his mother, Jewel Nolen Pearson; a brother, Randy Pearson; a sister, Michelle Keeling; brother-in-law, Bill Blake; aunts & uncles, Paul & Terry Nolen, Mark & Donna Nolen, Lee Nolen, David & Ruby Burkholder, Dean & Ruth Hughes, Lori Salle, Patty Borelli; first cousins, Monica Gore,  Wesley Nolen, Mike Corbin, Mandy Fogg, Steven McCabe (Ashlee)and their children, Jordan and Olivia; second  cousins, Wesley Nolen, Jr, Fox Nolen, Wayne F. White, Kayla M. Good, Eva Fogg, Elena Fogg, Jordan McCabe, Olivia McCabe; nieces, Jordan Blake, Rylie Pearson and nephew, Bryan O’Quinn.

As an organ donor, his final act of kindness saved three lives. We are grateful to have had him with us for 43 years.
