Richard Morris

December 29, 1958-March 15, 2025

It is with deep regret that Richard Morris has passed on March 15th, 2025.   He lived his life to the fullest, always a smile, finding beauty in the everyday simple things in life.

He spent his younger years in Key West Florida shrimping.  He loved being on the Ocean more than anything.

Later he learned the trade of building homes, and painting which he did for many years.

He fought a courageous battle with Copd, and Congested heart failure for many years.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard C. Morris, and Mavis Morris. 

He leaves behind a son Justin Morris, of Issaquah, Washington; 5 sisters, Dorothy Smith of Corbin, Ky, Carolyn Morris of Hudson, Fl, Cindy Hill (friend-Earl) of Shallotte, NC, Frieda Hewett (Dale) of Ocean Isle, NC, Mary Cortes (Luis) of Shallotte, NC, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and dear friends.
