Raymond G Hill

Raymond George Hill Sr., age 62, of Winnabow, NC passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at his home with his beloved family surrounding him.

Raymond was born in cherry point, NC on December 5, 1962 to the late Michael Joyce Hill Sr and Rachel Mae Speigle Irving.

Raymond was a retired mechanic who worked on both automobile and marine engines. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Rachel Irving and Father, Michael Hill Sr. Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Rose Marie Wilkins Hill; a daughter, Mae Marie Hill Schafer(Travis); a son, Raymond George Hill Jr(Amber); 7 grandchildren( Daniel, Johnathan, Timothy, Landon, Savannah, Hunter, and Lexi), his daddy; Frank Irving, brothers; Mike Hill Jr(Dinah), Frankie Irving, Shane Irving(Shelia), and Mark Irving. His sister; Tessie Oakford, as well as a lot of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He loved his family very much, but his greatest joy was definitely his grandkids.

To honor his wishes, Raymond will be cremated and a memorial service/celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11:00am at Gibson Avenue Baptist Church in Wilmington, NC.
