Paul Metz Obituary

Paul Fredric Metz, 84, of Calabash, NC passed away on Saturday the seventh of November 2020 at his home. Paul was born in Buffalo, NY on the seventh of December 1935. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Metz, a daughter, Cheryl Metz, a grandson, Kyle Metz and a daughter in law, Janice Metz. Paul was a US Army veteran and was retired from the Buffalo, NY Police Department.

Surviving are his loving wife of sixty-one years, Marianne Miller Metz; two sons, Gerald “Jerry” Metz of Myrtle Beach, SC, Paul Metz and wife Cathi of Brockport,, NY; a sister, Judy Palistrant and husband Carl of Tonawanda, NY; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Urbanik and husband Roger; grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, Bryan and Mikayla Metz; nephews, Danny Urbanik, Carl, Steve and Paul Palistrant.

Due to the health concerns, the family will have a private memorial service.
