Obituary

Paul Ernest Einfeldt, age 81, of Oak Island, NC, gently passed on Saturday, April 8, 2023, in the Lower Cape Fear Life Care, “Brunswick House”, Bolivia, NC.

Paul was born in Mahopac, NY on September 18, 1941, and was the last surviving child of Robert and Katherine Prust Einfeldt. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Hans. .

He served in the Army in the mid 60’s and worked to establish the first telecommunication satellite receiver. He was employed for many years by the Fairchild Republic Corporation on Long Island, New York. In 1989, Paul moved with his family to Oak Island, North Carolina. He and his wife Ginny bought the Pizza Shack which they operated together for the next 33 years.

Paul enjoyed a varied life. He was an avid golfer, skier, and sailor and loved to travel. He will be dearly missed by those he left behind. Surviving are his loving wife and best friend of  50 years, Virginia [Ginny] , his sons Paul, and Michael, daughter Sharon, and her daughters, Morgan and Amira.
