Patrick W Monk

Patrick W. Monk, 56, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at his home.

Patrick or “Monk” as so many affectionately knew him, was born in Fayetteville, NC on January 25, 1968. He was predeceased by his parents, Bennie Earl Bryan and Bonnie Seligman Harrington Bryan.

Monk was a talented & accomplished carpenter and worked for many years in the Brunswick County construction trade.

Monk was an avid motorcyclist that was loved by all. Monk loved his grandchildren and was affectionally known as “PawPaw”.

Surviving are two daughters, Sierra Marie Monk, Cheyenne Nicole Monk; a brother, Edward Monk; granddaughter, Celeste Rae Sobczynski and grandson, Wyatt Hoyt Smith.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 on Thursday, May 9, 2024, in the Shepherd Assembly Church, 6720 Old Shallotte Road, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469.

The family request that donations be made in his name to his daughters, Cheyenne Monk and Sierra Monk, or directly to the funeral home to cover any and all expenses.
