Patricia Gail Hewett

Patricia Gail Hewett, 80, of Shallotte, NC passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, in the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, SC following a time of declining health.

Born on July 6, 1944, Gail was a daughter of the late Floyd Washington and Gladys Clemmons Hewett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Ralph Leon Hewett, Sr.

Gail was a mother & homemaker who supported her husband while he was shrimping and fishing while providing a home and raised two sons.

Surviving are two sons, Ralph L. Hewett, II; Robin Hewett and wife Lorna, two grandchildren, Kelly Hewett, Erin Hewett; a brother, Ronald Butch Hewett and wife Sherrill; a nephew, Craig Hewett; and a special first cousin, Helen Hewett.

To honor her wishes, funeral services will be private.
