Oree Elizabeth (Benton) Howard

Mrs. Oree Elizabeth Benton Howard – She met her savior, Jesus Christ face to face, February 28, 2021.

She leaves behind a loving family; A husband of 64 years, Thomas (Squeaky) Howard; daughter, Debby Adkins; sons, Timmy Howard and Danny Howard; daughter in law, Fay Howard; son in law, Donald Adkins; grandchildren, Joshua Howard, Matthew Adkins, Kathrine Adkins and Amber Tucker; sister, Nancy Phelps and several nieces and nephews. As well as a very loving church family at Faith Baptist Church. She also had a special friend, Ricky Waddell, who could make her smile when no one else could. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Luther and Dorothy Benton; siblings, Bobby Benton and Betty Rabon.

The family will receive friends at Faith Baptist Church on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 5, at 2:00 pm at Faith Baptist. Services will be conducted by Rev. Clayton Rivenbark and Rev Naconiel Fullwood. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Bolivia, NC.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Adkins, Tony Butler, Joshua Howard, Timmy Howard, Gabriel Whitby, Porky White. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Faith Baptist Church Men’s Group.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Faith Baptist Church at 4455 Ocean Highway, E., Bolivia, NC 28422 or Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 955 Mercy Lane, Bolivia, NC 28422.
