Natalie Eleanor (Humeniuk) Rosfeld

Natalie H. Rosfeld, of Leland, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025. She was the second child born to the late Paul and Sophie Humeniuk in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania on January 25, 1931.  She is predeceased by her brother, Lawrence Leo. 

Natalie was an honor student in both high school and college where she excelled in various sports and cheerleading.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree at Edinboro State Teachers College in Pennsylvania where she was a member of Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, Delta Phi Delta Art Fraternity and the State choir.  After graduation she married the love of her life, the late Arthur E. Rosfeld.  Their marriage of 67 years began in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Long Island, New York where she was an art instructor in the public schools. 

In later years she worked administratively in two insurance agencies in Washington, DC.  In 2003 she and Arthur moved to Naples, Florida where they enjoyed many happy  retirement years together. She peacefully spent her final years living with her youngest daughter in North Carolina. She and Arthur are the profoundly proud parents of daughters Lesli R. Reiff (Alan) of Naples, Florida and Carrie L. Hurd (Charles) of Leland, NC, loving grandparents of William G. Hurd (Anna) and Laura A. Hurd, and loving great-grandparents of Maxine R. Hurd. Throughout her life Natalie has always been devoted to family, friends, art, music and sports.
