Myles Patrick Bennett

Myles Patrick Bennett, 35, of Calabash, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 28, 2026. Myles was born in Horry County, South Carolina on September 6, 1990 and was the son of Terry Wayne Bennett and the late Debbie West Bennett. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a grandfather, Marvin B. Bennett.

Myles was of the Baptist faith and worked as a rural letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. He enjoyed staying active at the gym, watching UFC and MMA events, working on cars and trucks, and continuously learning more about his job. He was always eager to learn something new and took great pride in sharing what he had learned, never hesitating to lend a helping hand.

Surviving are his loving wife of 8 years, Brooke Babson-Bennett; son, Zachary Bennett of the home; father, Terry Bennett and wife Rita Pigott Bennett of Shallotte; brother, Dustin Bennett and wife Monica of Gibsonville; and grandmother, Betty Varnam Bennett.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 p.m. at Shepherd Assembly Church, 6720 Old Shallotte Road, Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Rev. Dr. Foyd Bennett will officiate.
