Michelle Lee Benton

Michelle Lee Benton, age 48, of Ash, NC passed away on Wednesday the fourth of August 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Michelle was born in Wilmington, NC on the thirty first of May, 1973 to Martha Ward Benton of Ash, NC and the late Donald Ray Benton, Sr. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charlie James and Ida Lee Benton and maternal grandparents, Thomas Worth and Ora Ward.

Surviving are a daughter, Breanna Lee Jenkins, and husband Levi of Farmington, MO; a son, Tyler James Benton of Ash, NC; her mother, Martha W. Benton of Ash, NC; two brothers, Don Benton of Virginia Beach, VA, Steven Benton and wife Brianne of Ash, NC; two grandchildren, Brantley Tyler Benton, Layton Dray Benton and their mother, Miranda P. Meier.

Funeral services will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the seventh of August 2021at Shepherd Assembly Church, 6720 Old Shallotte Road, Ocean Isle Beach, NC with the Reverend Scott Holden officiating.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Azor Smith Cemetery, Ash.
