Margaret Ann (Lang) Reeks

Margaret Ann Reeks, 89, of Calabash, NC passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, in Autumn Care of Shallotte, following a time of declining health.

Born in Sarpy County, Nebraska, Margaret or “Marge” as she was affectionately known was the last surviving child of the late Herman John and Elsie Margaret Armburst Lang. In addition to her parents and siblings, Marge was predeceased by her first husband, Richard Allan White, Sr., and Reginald Reeks.

She retired from the Union Pacific Railroad in 1991 and moved to North Carolina where she enjoyed the beach and golfing.  Marge and Reg were active in the Elks Lodge located in Calabash.

Surviving are her two sons, Richard Allan White, Jr., Roger R. White and wife Susan; two grandchildren, Nicole White, Drew White and two great grandchildren.

Margaret will be interred beside her husband in the Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery, Omaha, NE at a date and time to be announced.
