Margaret "Micki" (McDaniel) Cacace

Margaret “Micki” Cacace 62, of Longs, SC passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 in the McLeod Seacoast Hospital following a brief illness.

Margaret, lovingly known as “Maggie” to some and “Micki” to others, was born in Alexandria, Virginia on November 25, 1961 and was one of ten children born to the late, George Henry McDaniel and Doris Ann Jones Gardner. In addition to her parents, Micki was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Cacace, a brother, Joey McDaniel, and her step-mother, Nancy McDaniel.

Micki was a personal shopper for WalMart for several years, and worked in the N. Myrtle Beach store. She was a “Free Spirit” and you could count on her doing things in a style that only she had.

Surviving are her siblings, Cheri McDaniel, Karen M. Threatt, Rose M. Krell, Jennifer McDaniel, Jeff Jones, Chris McDaniel, Brian McDaniel, Vincent (Porky) McDaniel; her best friends, Donna,  Kathleen, Robin (Dan) and Karla; nine nieces, nine nephews, fourteen great nephews, twelve great nieces, and two  great-great nieces.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, April 20, 2024 in the Shepherd Assembly Church, 6720 Old Shallotte Road, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469. The family will reveive friends one hour prior to the service.
