Linda Faye (Suggs) Anderson

Linda Faye Suggs Anderson, 72, of Calabash, NC passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at her home with loving family by her bedside.

Linda was born in Calabash, NC on November 5, 1952, and was one of eight children born to the late, George Benjamin and Theatus Ellen Lee Suggs. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by siblings, Billy Suggs, Earl Suggs, Helen Hewett and Sallie Carmichael.

Linda was a longtime member of Old Shallotte Baptist Church where she was very active until her failing health prohibited her from attending. Linda was an employee of the Shallotte Electric Stores where she eventually retired after many years. She will be remembered for her quick wit and ever-present smile.

Surviving are her husband of almost forty three years, Larry Gene Anderson; four sons, Chris Hickman (Stephanie), Pat Hickman, (Cheryl), Scott Anderson, (Stephanie), Nicholas Anderson; brothers, George Leroy Suggs, Sammy Suggs; sister, Gloria Suggs; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, from the graveside on Thursday, March 13, 2025, in the Manley Bennett Cemetery, Calabash, NC with The Reverend Landis Lancaster officiating.
