Larry Rudolph Fulwood, age 73, of Conway, SC passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 following a time of declining health.
Larry was born in Southport, NC on June 6, 1951, and was one of six children born to Eulalia Atkinson Fulwood and the late John Rudolph “J.R.” Fulwood. In addition to his father, Larry was predeceased by a brother, James R. “Jimmy” Fulwood, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Elvin and Ida Mae Brown Jordan.
Larry was retired from the town of Myrtle Beach after 28 years of service. He was a outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing and spending time in the NC Mountains. He enjoyed collecting guns and knives as well. He found peace and solitude while sitting in a tree stand and watching the wildlife around him.
Surviving in addition to his mother, Eulalia Fulwood of Ocean Isle Beach; are his loving wife of 27 years, Wanda Jordan Fulwood of Conway; a son, Kris Fulwood; a daughter, Elaine Fulwood; brothers, Henry Dale Fulwood (Audria), Michael Fulwood, Timmy Fulwood (Cornelia); sister, Angie F. Green (Rick); a special sister-in-law Holly Fulwood; brothers-in-law. Gary Jordan (Sharon), Tony Jordan (Wendy); his beloved grandchildren, Bryson, Brayden, Odin, Thoren, Johan, Mabel Fulwood; Larry was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first great-grandchild this fall, along with a host of extended family and friends too numerous to mention.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 4:00 PM, on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Fulwood Homeplace, 5886 Ocean Highway, Ocean Isle Beach, HC 28469.
