Kermit Eugene Rife, Sr.

Kermit Eugene Rife, Sr., age 82, of Winnabow, NC passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center after a lengthy illness.

Kermit was born in Buchanan County, Virginia and was a son of the late Stuart and Ida Mae Cooper Rife.

He was a proud US Army veteran. Kermit was a member of the The Pentecostals of Wilmington Church.

Surviving are his wife, Lee Verna Rife; a son, Kermit E. Rife, Jr., (Sandy); a daughter, Jennifer Rife; a brother, Kenneth Rife (Cindy); a sister, Brenda Cole; and three grandchildren, Nina Rife Allie Rife, Krystal Becker, Jake Rife and Joe Rife.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
