Kathryn Conaway Johnston

Kathryn “Konnie” Conaway Johnston, age 71, of Bolivia, NC passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 28, 2023 in the Universal Healthcare, Bolivia, NC following a time of declining health.

Konnie was born in Lumberton, NC on January 19, 1952 and was a daughter of the late Aubrey and Eva Conaway Johnston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Jay Johnston.

Surviving are a loving daughter, Alanna S. Allen (Jason) of Winnabow, NC; two sons, Rodney Wayne Suggs, Bradley Suggs; her life partner, Elmer Sonny George of Bolivia; a brother, Kenneth Johnston; a sister, Karen Morgan; beloved grandchildren, Samantha Suggs, Kayden Suggs, Braxton Allen (Jordan, aka J-Dog), Trent Allen (Maggie); a great grandchild, Riley Suggs; 2 special nieces Megan Johnston Garvillen & Amanda Johnston & nephew, Austin Morgan.

To honor Konnie’s wishes her family will hold a private celebration of life.
