Judy Roberson

Judy “Gail” Roberson, known by those who loved her most as Mama, Grammie, and “Cry to Me” Gail, passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on January 21st, 2026. She was 78 years old.
Gail was born August 23, 1947, in Greensboro, NC, to James Howard “Buck” and Ruth Andrews Cook. Her life found true meaning with the births of her daughters, Machelle and Wendy. She traveled, read, shagged, played cards, enjoyed the beach, and treasured time with friends.
Gail cherished both family and friends, considering her friends as family and knowing they felt the same. She never missed a chance to share laughter. Above all, her children and grandchildren were her deepest loves. She supported every achievement and celebration, always present for those she cared for most.
Her faith was a defining feature of her life. She loved the Lord with all her heart and with all her mind. She believed in the power of prayer and always went out of her way to share the gospel with those around her. Gail’s family knows that she is with the Lord, smiling and laughing in the arms of her Savior. We will love her forever and miss her every day.
Those left to live and love like her are her children, Machelle Joyce (Donald) and Wendy Camille Harmon. Her Grandchildren are McKenzie Camille Jensen, Seth Jensen, Brandon Heath, Mason Joyce, and Dayton Joyce. As well as her great-grandchildren, Braxton Heath and Serenity Heath. Her sister Vickie Roberson (Dennis), niece Tammy Stilling (Adam), her nephew Jeff Roberson (Connie), great niece Victoria Beyer (Dylan), Samantha Stilling, and great nephews Josh Rumley and Luke Stilling.

The family will receive friends for a celebration of life on February 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Hines Chapel Church, 4476 Hines Chapel Road, McLeansville, NC 27301.
