Judy Kay Killian, 73, of Supply, NC passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, in the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, Brunswick House following a time of declining health.
Judy was born in Catawba County, NC on June 20, 1952, and was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Carolyn Bernice Miller Killian Mongro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Killian, and a sister, Elisa Robertson.
Surviving are a son, Freddie Coulter; three brothers, Roger Killian (Kim), Ricky Killian (Annette), Donnie Killian (Cindy); five sisters, Sheila Killian, Katrina Huffman, Robin Killian, Janine Killian , Anna Huffman (Dale); a granddaughter, Samantha Emery (Kyle); and three great grandchildren, Gabriel Emery, Merliah Emery and Leo Emery.
Judy aka Nanny was a kind and honest person, her love language was helping people whether it be giving them rides, cooking, mending clothing, dog sitting, anything as long as she could do it she would. She was a Methodist and went to church for many many years at Shiloh Methodist church; She taught children's church every Sunday and on Saturdays her and her granddaughter could be found there getting the church ready for Sunday worship. She loved making quilts for everyone she could, if you have one please cherish it she always put her heart and soul in every one she made no matter who it was going to; she also donated a lot of quilts to causes and people in need. She was a wonderful cook and loved to find new recipes to try and new things to Can with her Son and Family. One thing everyone always loved getting for Christmas was her apple butter. Nanny loved her simple life feeding her chickens and cats every morning and evening, spending every day with her Son, talking to The Girls at 7pm and her brother Ricky at 9pm, and her granddaughter and her children everyday without fail. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Especially by her Best Friend ( her granddaughter Samantha) and her Babies ( Gabriel, Merliah, and Leo) the holidays especially will never be the same. But she will live on in the memories we share and the stories we tell. May she rest in Peace and always know that she is so incredibly loved by all who knew her.
Memorial services will be conducted on her birthday June 20th in Catawba, NC. Time has not been determined at this time but please contact the Family for updates.
