John Mark Icard

John Mark Icard, age 59 of Sunset Beach, NC passed away on Monday, the eighth of February 2021.

John was born in Charlotte, NC on the thirteenth of May 1961to the late Reverend A.W. Icard and Alice Reid Knight Icard. John worked for 40 years as a carpenter in various construction businesses. For the last 10 years he worked exclusively for Timmy Fulwood at Fulwood Property Care.

Surviving are four siblings, Reid Icard of Charlotte, NC, Ann Warren and husband Ralph of Harrisburg, NC, Joan Adcox and husband Steve of Greensboro, NC, Peter Icard and wife Tracy of Clayton, NC; nephews, John Adcox and wife Catherine of Greensboro, NC, Robby Icard and wife Shannon of Wilmington, NC; nieces, Shelley Vasquez and husband Jay of Greensboro, NC, Jill Eller and husband Roy of Kannapolis, NC, Alyce Traynham and husband Todd of Harrisburg, NC, Kaitlin Reid and husband Quint of Jonesboro, AR, Carrie Cruz and husband Derrick of Houston, TX; six great nieces; five great nephews and one great great nephew.

He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
