John Michael Ferrari

John Michael Ferrari, 83, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026, following a time of declining health.

John was born in the Bronx, NY and was a son of the late Joseph and Triestina Colini Ferrari. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Ferrari.

John was retired from the NY City Police Department and was a US Coast Guard veteran.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Kathleen “Kathie” Ferrari; a son, John Ferrari (Debbie); a daughter, Anne Salvatore; a sister-in-law, Jeanne Potter (Jason); five beloved grandchildren, Nicholas, Olivia, Katie, Jenna, John; and two nieces, Leslie Allen and Melissa Binetti (Umberto).

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
