Jeanne Callahan

Jeanne (Korienek) Callahan of Shallotte, NC passed away on December 09, 2025 at her home, entering into her eternal heavenly home, being embraced by those that have gone before her.

Born in Owasso, Michigan on November 6, 1942, raised in Bannister, Michigan, one of seven children to the late Joseph and Agnes (Phillips) Korienek.

Survived by her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, Jimmie P. Callahan, her children Loretta (Dave) Taylor, Pamela (Mike) Riley, Angela (Tom) Hutchinson, Douglas (Venus) Callahan, Grandchildren; Scott and Emily Taylor, Jacob (Joan) and Joshua Riley, Nicholas and Chloe Hutchinson, Douglas (Mckenna) Callahan, Nicole (Raymond) Davison plus 5 great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who trust in the LORD for help will find their strength renewed. They will rise on wings like eagles; they will run and not get weary; they will walk and not grow weak.

Jeanne was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. As a wife and mother, she showed us abundant love and still had so much more love to give. She had a kind and gentle soul and was the best listener. She truly was a shining light to all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Jeanne’s journey on this earth was marked by love, compassion and an unwavering faith in her Lord and Savior. We will cherish the wonderful memories we have as a family and individuals. She is truly missed and loved.
