Jane Lorraine (Tryon) Canfield

Jane Lorraine Canfield, 75, of Carolina Shores, NC passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 15, 2024.

Jane was born in Amsterdam, NY on September 29, 1948, to the late Ralph and Mildred Vrooman Tryon. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Sprague, brothers-in-law, Richard Sprague and Robert Cox.

Jane was a graduate of Albany Business College, Albany, NY and was retired from Niagara Power Corporation after 33 years of service. After moving to Carolina Shores with her husband Donald she became a member of the Calabash American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband, Donald B. Canfield; a son, Eric Johnson and wife Rae Ann of Lake Luzerne, NY; a sister, Judy Cox of Amsterdam, NY; grandchildren, Emily Spotswood and husband Gary of Lake Luzerne, Lucas Canfield of Lakewood, CO; step-children, Donald M. Canfield and wife Kristen of Lakewood, CO, Doreen Smith and husband Robert of Gloversville, NY.
