Irene Lizotte Obituary

Irene Lizotte, age 92 of Ocean Isle Beach, NC passed away peacefully on Wednesday the seventeenth of March 2021 at her residence.

Born in White Plains, New York on the twenty eighth of June 1928, Irene was the oldest of twin daughters born to the late Edward Joseph and Irene Guennett Lizotte.

Irene spent many years as a court reporter in the New York and New Jersey Public Courts. She was a very independent woman and was an accomplished equestrian in her younger years. Irene was a member of St. Leo’s Roman Catholic Church, Leominster, MA.

Surviving is her loving twin sister, Iola Smith of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; a nephew, Dr. Charles E. Smith; a niece, Robin Young Allen and her son Matthew Tyler Young.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
