Harold, Lee “Skeet” Hamilton, Sr., age 80, of Supply, NC passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 17, 2025.
Harold was born in Portsmouth, VA on September 8, 1944, and was a son of the late Harold Lee Hamilton, Sr., and Mildred Koonce Hamilton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the mother of his daughters, Debra Mosely Hamilton, two grandchildren, Christian Anderson, Elisabeth A. Harold, affectionately known as “Skeet”, enjoyed a long and dedicated career as a tool manager for industrial plants, often traveling to work during major outages. Deeply rooted in his Christian faith, he was rarely seen without his Bible, and music was a constant source of Joy-Elvis tunes frequently filled his world. “Heaven Came Down and Glory Filled My Soul” was his favorite song. If he wasn’t sharing scripture, he would likely talk about his two beloved tractors or his five cherished daughters. He also deeply loved his farm animals and farming, he also really enjoyed feeding his fish in the pond he created. He enjoyed going out in little boat fishing and grilling, but only with hickory wood.
Surviving are his beloved daughters, Virginia Mae H. Christensen, Deborah Lynn H. Anderson, (David J. Anderson), Treasa Annette Bailey (Chester H. Bailey, Jr.), Tina Katrina Marie Padrick, Sharon Denise H. Tripp (Walter); sixteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. His best friends, WC Groves and Billy Peterson, will deeply feel his absence as well.
To honor his wishes services will be private.
"Daddy loved his three "B's" Bible, BBQ and Beer."
