Gloria Harriett Bennett Holley,

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mrs. Gloria H. Holley, better known as Harriett Holley.

Born May 22, 1942, to the late Harry and Vertilee S. Bennett. She was born and raised in Calabash, NC of which she was truly proud. She was preceded in death by husband, of better than 42 years, Mr. Richard Holley. Also, predeceased, are her eldest son, Watford Keith Bazemore, and a grandson, Jordan Connor Sager.

Mrs. Harriett was a loving mother and sternly devoted wife.

Surviving are her children, Teresa Figiuola and husband Steve of Wrightsville Beach, NC, Melony Latta (Keith Croom) of Whiteville, NC, Joshua Holley and wife Tabitha of Shallotte, NC, and a grandson that she and her husband gladly raised as their own, Rhyan L. Inman of Whiteville, and more grandchildren, great grandchildren of which she loved very much. She had one sister, Deborah Leggett of Calabash.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 16, 2023, in the Highest Praise Church, with the Reverend Jordan Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow in the Manley Bennett Cemetery.

A time of visitation with the family will be from 10:00 until 11:00 at the church. And from other times from the home of Ms. Latta at 196 Country Village Road, Whiteville, NC 28472.

Pallbearers will be close friends of the family, Keith Croom, Mike Ward, and grandsons Rhyan Inman, Jacob Holley, Jonathan Solano and Chance Padfield. 

The family requests that donation be made in her name to the Highest Praise Church at PO Box 1189, Shallotte, NC 28459
