Gail Marie (O'Connor) Glenn

Gail Marie O’Connor Glenn, 87, of Shallotte, NC passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in the SECU Hospice House of Bolivia, NC following a time of declining health. Born in Washington, DC on January 15, 1938, Gail was a daughter of the late Charles Edward O’Connor, Sr., and Mary Kelly O’Connor. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, George Edward Jones, and their son, Wes Andrew Jones.  

Gail was a loving, caring and compassionate woman who touched many lives.  She owned and operated Blue Ridge Country Antiques in Martinsburg West Virginia.  She was also the Director of Kings Daughters Court Assisted Living Facility in Martinsburg.   

She subsequently moved to the Woods Resort in Hedgesville where she met the second love of her life Sam Glenn.   

Surviving is her husband, Samuel Glenn, Jr.; his children, Jeffery R. Glenn (Ilene), Samuel Brian Glenn, Valerie Ann Glenn, Lori Glenn, Jennifer Lyon (Tim); and numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Charles Edward O’Connor Jr. (Barbara); a sister, Cathleen O’Connor McGraw (Robert); cousins, Alvin Brown (Mary), William Schoeni (Carol) and John Schoeni (Linda).   

To honor her wishes, no services are planned.
