Frances Joan (Tormey) Tompkins

Frances Joan Tormey Tompkins, age 79, of Carolina Shores, NC passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2024.

Frances was born in the Bronx, New York, on February 18, 1945, and was a daughter of the late Frank and Joan Kelly Tormey.

In addition to making a home for her family, she had dedicated careers with the United Parcel Service and Omnicore.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Robert J. Tompkins (NC); their daughter, Patricia Tompkins Hess (NY) and their son, Christopher Tompkins (NY); as well as her siblings, Kathy Zinkand, Donna Sullivan, Dennis Tormey (Denise), Joann Terrence (Hank); a grandson, Conor Hess; and a granddaughter, Lorelei Hess.
