Emma Sue Addair, 76, of Calabash, NC, entered the gates of Heaven on the afternoon of Thursday, September 25, 2025, at her home with her beloved family by her side.
Emma Sue was one of thirteen children, born in Iaeger, West Virginia, to the late William “Bill” and Ardella Jackson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Gary Addair and James Addair; their father, Mosey M. Addair; brothers, Clinton, Arvil, Gleason, Herschel, and Acie Jackson; as well as her sister, Truby Sweatt.
She is survived by her daughter, Deana Lingle; her son, Jody Franklin Addair; two brothers, Lennis Jackson and Cletis Jackson; four sisters, Doris Vanover, Debbie Jackson, Glada Cline, and Carol East; grandchildren, Dylon Perry and wife Victoria, Summer Lingle, Cory Addair, and Amanda Addair; and two great-grandchildren, Aslynn Perry and Carson Addair.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, with family and friends received at 1:00 PM followed by the service at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home, 4299 Coal Heritage Road, Iaeger, WV 24844.
