Edward "Ken" Kenneth Allen

Edward Kenneth Allen, Sr., 98, of Bolivia, NC passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, following a extended illness.

Ken or “Pops” as he was affectionately known was born in Bridgeport, CT on October 16, 1926, and was a son of the late Ernest K and Rose Bendendetti Allen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Gloria O’Neil Allen, a son, Danny Allen and numerous siblings.

Ken was a proud US Navy WWII veteran. During his working years, he owned and operated a Doughnut Business and operated through a delivery truck. He was also a house painter for 25+ years.

Surviving are three sons, Bill Allen, Michael W. Allen and wife Karen, Edward Allen, Jr., and wife Edna; and a host of grandchildren, nieces & nephews and extended family.
