Donald (Donnie) Eugene Hammett

Donald E. (Donnie) Hammett, 67, of Bolivia, NC passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at his home.

Born in Washington, DC, on December 5, 1956, He was one of three children born to the late Daniel and Gertrude Farrell Hammett.

Donnie was a proud US Air Force veteran and was a retired high voltage electrician.

Surviving are his loving wife of 48 years, Bonnie Richards Hammett of the home; three sons, Eric Hammett and wife Karla, Danny Hammett and fiancée Shannon, Kevin Hammett, II and wife Amy; a brother, Robert Hammett; a sister, Tammy Ashworth; seven grandchildren, Kara Giles, Abby Hammett, Ryan Hammett, Kevin Hammett, II, Nick Hammett, Kendall Hammett, Savannah Hammett; and one great grandchild, Cole Giles.

A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
