Donald Edwin Minton

Donald Edwin Minton age 69 of Shallotte North Carolina passed away peacefully at his home in Shallotte on Sunday, May 4th 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born February 19th, 1956, in Indianapolis, Indiana. For over 30 years Donald was a familiar and trusted figure in the Shallotte area through his home remodeling and painting business, the painter for hire he was known for his strong worth ethic and his commitment to quality service notably Donald had a generous spirit and often gave back to the elderly in his community by offering his services at a reduced cost. A testament to his kind and caring nature, Donald proudly served his country in the United States army for 2 years.

He is survived by Patricia Minton, and his children Misty Minton, Donald Minton, Kevin Minton, he will also be dearly missed by his sisters, Debbie, Donna, and Deanna; his late sister, Barbara. A brother, Albert, and wife Trish who comforted and cared for him  up into his passing on Sunday morning.

Donald's dedication to his work and his generosity towards others and his love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
