Dolly Davis Obituary

Dolly Ann Davis, 70, of Whiteville, NC (Crusoe Community), passed away Sunday morning, September 22, 2024 with her loving family by her bedside. 

 Dolly was born in Greenville, SC on September 16, 1954 and was a daughter of the late, William Claude and Ruby Crowder Mason. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimmy" Davis and a sister, Myra Ward.  

 Surviving are her daughter, Mary Long (Danny); son Christopher "Chris" Fowler (Lindsy); three sisters, Cathy Cliff, Tonda Mitchell, Willette Blanks (Fitzgerald); four grandchildren, Daniel "DJ" Long (Anna), Patsy Breier (Thomas), Austin Long (Kendra), Michael Long; great-grandchildren, Reid, Luke, Emily Breier, and  Josiah, Sophia, Isaac, and Ezra Long.  

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September  25, 2024, in the Magnolia Missionary Baptist Church, 1558 Crusoe Island Road, Whiteville, NC.  

 A time of visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm prior to the service.

 Burial will follow in the Laspyre Long Cemetery.
