Delores Marie Herbranson

Delores Marie Herbranson went peacefully home to Jesus on January 27, 2026 at age 96. She was under hospice care at The Landings in Oak Island, North Carolina. 

She was born to May and Oscar Olson on August 22, 1929, in Folden Township, Ottertail County, Minnesota. 

She was the youngest child of six children. 

Delores married Virgil Anderson in August 24, 1950. They lived in Flordia and Wyoming. Later settled in Minnesota and went on to have 3 children.

Delores later married Robert Herbranson August 17, 1991. They traveled many places and settled in rural Vining, Minnesota area. 

Proceeding Delores in death were her son, Tony; first husband, Virgil; Husband, Robert; two brothers, Kenneth and Marland; three sisters, Shirly, Lorna and Dorthy. She is survived by her son Mike (Sandy) Anderson of Southport, North Carolina; daughter Kathryn Avinger of Charlestion, South Carolina. 

Six grandchildren Jennifer (Imran), Matt (Cassandra), Kaysie (jared), Michael, Julie and Jill. Eight great grandchildren. Four step-children: Ruth Ann Christianson, Lois Bodurtha, Kenneth Herbranson and Arlan Herbranson, including many step-grandchildren and great grandchidlren she loved.

A celebration of life will be held tentatively in June 2026 in Minnesota.
